About SALICYLIC ACID+COAL TAR

To treat skin diseases like psoriasis, dandruff, and seborrheic dermatitis, COAL TAR+SALICYLIC ACID is a component of a drug known as a "keratolytic agent" (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). Reduces skin hardness, thickening, and scaling when used with SALICYLIC ACID. In the skin condition known as psoriasis, skin cells proliferate up to ten times more quickly than normal, causing the skin to thicken and develop into bumpy (uneven) red patches coated in white scales. On the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back, they are frequently seen.

Medicinal Benefits

COAL TAR+SALICYLIC ACID is made up of coal tar and salicylic acid, a peeling agent (keratoplastic). It manages seborrheic dermatitis and is used to treat psoriasis (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). Salicylic acid, a keratolytic drug, softens the skin, breaks up clumps of keratin (a protein found in hair), promotes moisture in the skin, and dissolves the component that makes skin cells adhere to one another. Coal tar is a keratoplastic (thickens the keratin layers) chemical that causes the top layer of skin to shed dead cells and slows down the formation of skin cells, reducing scaling and dryness, and relieving itching.

Directions for Use

Only apply COAL TAR + SALICYLIC ACID topically. Rinse your mouth, nose, and eyes well with cold water if the medication has gotten there. Before using the ointment, gently clean the afflicted area with saline or water. Dry the skin with a fresh cotton towel after patting it. With clean, dry hands, generously apply lotion or ointment to the affected parts of the skin and spread it out into a 1/8-inch-thick layer. You can also use a piece of fresh cotton wool or gauze to apply it. Unless the treatment is for hands, wash your hands before and after applying it to the affected regions. With your hands, create a nice lather with the soap before applying it to the troubled regions.

Gently massage in a circular motion, then thoroughly rinse with water. Shampoo for the scalp: Lather it up by gently massaging a generous amount into the damp scalp. If required, repeat the process of thoroughly rinsing with clean water.
