About

AMINEXIL+MINOXIDIL is a medication used to treat alopecia (hair loss). It promotes hair growth and slows the aging process. It is used to stimulate hair growth in men with androgenetic alopecia (male pattern hair loss). Alopecia is defined as hair thinning or loss on the scalp or any other part of the body. Androgenetic alopecia is baldness caused by permanent hair loss from the scalp.

AMINEXIL+MINOXIDIL is made up of Aminexil and Minoxidil. Minoxidil is a vasodilator that opens potassium channels and widens blood vessels. This vasodilation process aids in the delivery of oxygen, blood, and nutrients to hair follicles, preventing hair cell death and promoting new hair growth. Aminexil is a potassium channel opener that inhibits an enzyme that is responsible for the formation of collagen around hair follicles.

Directions for Use

AMINEXIL+MINOXIDIL comes in topical solutions, sprays, gels, and foams. Depending on the severity of your hair loss, your doctor will recommend the appropriate dosage. Before applying AMINEXIL+MINOXIDIL, make sure your hair and scalp are completely dry. After using AMINEXIL+MINOXIDIL on the scalp, leave your hair for at least an hour. AMINEXIL+MINOXIDIL solution comes with a spray pump applicator and an extended spray-tip applicator in most cases. Aim the spray pump at the bald areas of the scalp and pump once.

Then, using your fingertips, spread the solution. Six sprays would deliver one milliliter of AMINEXIL+MINOXIDIL. Avoid inhaling the spray mist and thoroughly wash your hands after application. Apply the solution to large areas of skin with the spray pump applicator and small areas with the spray-tip applicator.
